Biography:

J. Scott Weaver is one of the founders of West Bay Law and has been a practicing attorney for more than 20 years. He graduated from Northeastern University and then later took the bar after completing four years of self-study of the law. Mr. Weaver specializes in all aspects of tenants’ rights litigation and has wide and varied experience in mold cases. He also handles much of the real estate and small business litigation for the firm. Mr. Weaver has taught continuing education courses on basic and advanced landlord-tenant law. Mr. Weaver has received extensive mediation training and serves as a panelist on the San Francisco Bar Association Early Settlement Conference Program. He is available to conduct private mediations. A long-time community and tenant activist, he serves on the Board of Directors of Accion Latina as well as the Fund for the Environment and Urban Life.
